Tricky to find but a really well located AirBnB. We had a look at Agatha Christie’s, now NT, summer home Greenway, on the banks of the Dart river. The Bull gastropub served our meals on two nights, and we took a day trip to Exeter via Tiverton Parkway having misplaced someone’s cellphone. A quick scoot around Exeter cathedral had to be done, but although there was a door for the cat there was none in residence.

So Panisse as served at the Bull is southern French deep fried chickpea fritters, just gram flour and oil cooked, mixed, left to set and deep fried.
