Bernie was grateful for a chance to visit “the North”, although Google translate did a perfectly adequate job. A 100th parkrun completed in Tczew with the Biegajacy Tczew, staying with Pud in Warsaw, recharging a phone at the independence museum, then off to Krakow with Rachel & Dan. Finishing back with family in Przemysl and a flight back from Krakow. Phew!

- 13-Feb. Tczew to Warsaw by train 137zl – £26, Two and a half hours. Of course over 60s tickets are 30% cheaper. These are modern Inter city trains
- Museum of Independence including Lazienki palace
- A shop to buy craft beer of course at the Paleta Piwa
- 15-Feb.Warsaw to Krakow 139zl. Again 2.5 hours
- Tour of Auschwitz booked from Krakow travelling on a mini-coach/bus. An early start is recommended rather then fill the day, arriving before the crowds and gives time in the afternoon for more sightseeing. Perfectly reasonable and not a rip off though a one hour tour barely scratches the surface.
- 18-Feb. Krakow to Przemysl 48zl. 3 hours but these are regional trains rather than inter city so are cheaper
