I would like to thank Chris for suggesting I sign up for the ballot, but clearly I’m not going to do that. In the end I ran for my dear departed brother Greg, not the queen. Enough respect for her as a person, zero for the institution, but everyone crawling over each other to show more respect than the others seemed a bit much FFS. 2:08:50 was quite a respectable time with results here, but TBH it’s just a tour of Tyneside dual carriageways, & with the “you will not have fun” decree made it a bit of a nonsense. I did high-5 the official start Eilish Mccolghan as Ewen decreed I had to, and I couldn’t run down the hill in to South Shields, but one this was for Misio.
