Dodged the deluge for the Rockford Inn to Lynmouth via Watersmeet on the way back
Tyntesfield National Trust was looking good in the sunshine on the way back, with a quick game of tennis to test the elbow on their court.
The Rockford Inn is a tranquil but damp place to stay. The food was a little disappointing, but at the special offer price a decent break. Next time might be a break at the Hunters Inn, but travel across the moor and Simonsbath for a less windy journey.
