A (14-21) week with Jill and Ned. With temperatures moving in to the 30s this was a good mid-July visit. With swifts, sunshine and sangria (wine doesn’t scan), we visited Bergerac, typical Dordogne villages, Chateaux, and realised we’d been here before camping and so re-visited Perigueux. With no time to degust at Montbazillac we did nevertheless enjoy the view across the Dordogne whilst Roger Federer was trouncing an injured Marin Cilic at Wimbledon.

The Tour de France had been here only 2 days before, but the heat meant our own cycle trip was limited to the flat of the canal.
With a highlight at Au Fil d’leau for a e25 meal joined treats of Marche Gourmands at Beaumont, locally at Couze et St Front as well as Port de Couze, gave an insight into local anglo-french culture.
And the photos as they are
