Wetwood Ho! Specially for those who didn’t get confused by the spelling and go to a completely different hostel.

19 winter warmers, spent the weekend in North Devon. En route Hardys discoverd the Stag’s Head Inn near Filleigh, South Molton – worth a return visit. The promise of poor weather didn’t deter two groups setting off, albeit with totally different agendas, on a very grey January Saturday. Andrea kept the conservatory company whilst 6 testosterone fuelled walkers set off in cars to Clovelly to return along the coast path, with an inland group setting off for tea and cake on a less adventerous sortie. Bev the Booker arrived at the right Ho in the late afternoon having just about recovered from a non-chardonnay induced bug.
Saturday evening saw the now traditional quiz – well it’s happened twice – including rounds on Trees, Cocktails, Polish Film Posters, Local Knowledge, Flags, Geography and “In what year”
The Sunday groups scattered to try and get out before the weather well and truly closed in promising to meet again in a Jim Phelps Mission Impossible kind of way…
