Brixham 25 (2)

Thinking the working South Devon town of Brixham was an excellent destination set off on a Twixtmas break in the cold with NT Killerton on the way and Kirstie MacLeod’s ‘red dress project‘ exhibition.

Dinner at Rockfish, but not the John Dory. A truly lovely circular walk from Kingswear using the ferry to get across and back from Dartmouth and a brutal coast walk from Kingswear back to Brixham, along what is now the King Charles III Way. Is that maybe a bit like DJT adding his name to the Kennedy Center? It’s the South West Coast Path, but this extends it further East so we’ll let him off. We enjoyed lunch at the superb looking gardens at D’Oyly Carte’s NT Coleton Fishacre accessible from the Coast Path as long as no one is watching. But yes it was cold.
