A visit to Intel in Oregon & Sacramento. Flew in to Portland Oregon, famous if anything for Mount Hood and then out to Sacramento before flying back.
Wanted to see the Pacific Ocean, the Transamerica pyramid, the Golden Gate bridge, Coit Tower, Alcatraz and Muir Woods Giant Redwoods – now famous for the Planet of the Apes I guess. In Oregon you could see where Mount St Helen’s had erupted/exploded back in 1980 taking out half the mountain. Sounds like Oregon would have been a great place to live if you enjoy all things outdoors.
